ECRL affirms AAA (Triple A) and ST-1 to Singer Bangladesh Limited

Emerging Credit Rating Limited (ECRL) has affirmed AAA (Pronounced as Triple A) long term credit rating and ST-1 short term credit rating to Singer Bangladesh Limited. The outlook on the rating is Stable. The rating is consistent with ECRL’s methodology for this type of company. Singer Bangladesh Limited (SBL) is a well-known consumer electronics brand in Bangladesh, offering a diverse range of items such as household appliances, computers. In the latter years of business operation, Singer introduced range of products which includes home appliances, computers, sewing machines etc. ECRL considered financial performance, scale of business, management quality, operational quality, profitability and the prospect of the industry as well as audited financials of FY2018-2021 (December), half-yearly un-audited statement of FY2022 along with other quantitative and qualitative information till date.
